We offer this video about the threat of attack by Iran. This is the most common conversational topic when I talk to both Israelis and Americans – or even UN workers in Israel.

In fact, we have learned that the UN has already made plans to evacuate their people from the Middle East Headquarters if things heat up more.

Watch the video and let me know what you think.

Let’s hear it for the Border Police – again. These stalwart defenders of Israel’s people serve under some very difficult conditions.

One point on the terrorist tools discovered in the bag: - the pistol has had the slide removed, a barrel taped to the grip, and is likely more dangerous to the shooter than the target!

Pipe bombs were discovered in the bag also. Who knows how bad this could have been.

Israel...

There is a real war going on inside the Netanyahu Coalition government over a place that Joshua took long ago.

Located between Nablus and Jerusalem, the ancient town of Bethel (Beit El, House of God), is the focus of the conflict between West Bank “settlers,” liberals like Defense Minister and Labor Party member Ehud Barak, and Palestinians.

This latest headline grabbing episode is just the latest over not just real...

Quite a few years ago my Grandma Crabtree regularly asked me the same thing. She was a tremendous influence in my life, provided what I needed in a guiding light and loved me beyond question.

I’m still up to some things that cause folks to ask, “What are you doing?” but now it is more in the way of work, not trouble-making. Well, most of the time at least.

When I was thirty years old, I was called to preach, founded...

The top Egyptian Islamic cleric came to Jerusalem for a recent visit. What!?, you say.

Well, to add confusion, he was invited by the Jordanians, came, he claims, to stand with the Palestinians, and was facilitated not only by the Palestinian Waqf (authority), but by Israel.

And not the voices in Egypt are raised in anger and opposition to his visit.

The Israel HaYom article spells it all out for you, but remember...

Whenever I meet Americans the talk inevitably turns to whether Israel will or will not strike Iran. Interestingly there is no doubt in anyone’s mind that the Iranians will try to nuke Israel.

Recently on Holocaust Remembrance Day at the Holocaust Memorial, Yad Vashem, this was addressed:

'I speak the uncomfortable truth to the world,' Netanyahu says

Prime minister compares destruction of European Jewry to Iran's...

Yes, it’s plain-Jane food. Humus is hardly the thing of arrogance, but good humus is indeed something to be proud of making.

We were in a fish restaurant in Tiberias not long ago and the owner brought out the traditional dishes of salads and veggies along with a plate of humus. It was a match for this photo, and tasted so good we ate it all and asked for more.

Our son not long ago mentioned the time we were at the...

Handling a tight wire act is no easy thing, as King Abdullah II, of Jordan well knows. His nation is around 70% Palestinian, virtually all Muslim, and tiptoeing around the Arab Spring-mentality.

The King has made a lot of publicity moves to pacify the people, but it now looks like embracing the Muslim Brotherhood’s political party won’t be one of them.

It’s one thing to make remarks against Israel to gin up support....

President Obama might be wheedling for more wiggle room with Russia, but one thing you will not hear is Putin doing the same. It’s not his way, but that is not to say that he doesn’t have to answer to some in Mother Russia, too.

In a very good analysis, INSS has issued a briefing paper on how Russia fits into the Iranian question. We thought we’d share with you. Enjoy:

Possible Russian Responses to an Attack...
