"Oh Allah, you know what those accursed Jews have done, the corruption they spread across Earth… Strike them so that there is not one of them left. Allah, make the men and women sterile,"

That was the prayer of a Tunisian imam. Said prayer was broadcast on their national television station, and the a minority advocacy group has filed suit in Tunisian court to punish the Islamic preacher.

As you can see from the photo, it going to take a lot more than an imam’s prayer to manage that.

The complaint is based on Tunisian law states that using...

Former Israeli TV star and the son of one of the “old men” of Israeli politics (Tommy Lapid), Yair Lapid quit the media and went into politics.

As most do around here, he started his own party. It costs so little and only takes a few shekels, so why not?

Well, one reason is because the little, upstart parties cannot garner enough votes to get heard by most. No so Lapid.

He is already famous. And the media likes his articulate manner and good looks. Besides, maybe he’ll appoint some of them to government jobs if he does get elected.

For now he’s...

The following commentary by Rich Lowry is well worth your time. We offer it with no additions of our own:

If psychos walk free

By RICH LOWRY

Newtown is the latest locale in America to become synonymous with senseless slaughter. The shock and the horror are so intense, it almost guarantees that Congress will act.

There will inevitably be an enormous brouhaha around guns and ammunition, leading to nothing likely to prevent the next massacre. Democrats are talking about a renewed assault-weapon ban and a prohibition on high-capacity magazines.

But Adam Lanza could have killed just as indiscriminately with any semi-automatic gun, and if he didn’t have a high-capacity magazine, he could simply have reloaded with smaller magazines — something the Virginia Tech and Columbine killers managed to do.

If we’re going to have a rush to action, it shouldn’t be on guns. It should be on mental illness.

It doesn’t make for high political drama or emotional cable chatter, but getting...

Watch this video produced by Debka.com as it teaches you the bad news.

Putin promised Bush and Obama that he would not do it, but he has given the Syrians missiles capable of carrying nukes and biological and nerve gas.

Of course, what Syria gets, Iran gets.

A rough neighborhood indeed.

“Clashes between Syrian rebels and an armed Palestinian group loyal to President Bashar Assad raged inside a Damascus refugee camp Tuesday as opposition fighters pushed deeper into the capital, activists said. There were no immediate reports of casualties from Tuesday's fighting.” (YNET.COM)

There was jubilation inside the West Bank recently. First was the victory in the UNGA when 139 nations voted...

While doing research on another area, I came across three videos on Tehran, Iran. A young Australian man put the series together and did a great job of it.

I couldn’t help thinking of my own personal videographer, Justin Thompson who works for NBC currently. He has the same innate curiosity and skill. We worked on one major project, and a couple of others, and he and this young man strike me as having lots of things in common.

As you watch this video and the next two over the following days, I would remind you that Press TV is an Iranian organization. They answer to the political correctness of the ruling government,...

For days now the Israeli jets have been flying over Jerusalem. We are not privy to any secrets, but from the ways they are moving, it’s out guess that they were doing practice bombing runs on city areas. I repeat it is our guess.

What is not a guess was the release of this information today:

“The chemical warfare threat looming over Syria’s civil war and its neighbors has taken an epic turn with the announcement by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov Saturday, Dec. 22, that “the Syrian government has...

In a recent article in the Israeli media, Sharon Udasin reported, “The company Israel Energy Initiatives (IEI), which has already completed an exploratory pre-pilot drilling phase in Israel's Adullam region near Beit Shemesh, has claimed that the area -- also called the Shfela Basin -- contains approximately 250 billion barrels of shale oil, amounts that could be competitive to the amount of crude oil in Saudi Arabia.

“The company intends to acquire the oil by drilling a production well and surrounding in-situ heating wells approximately 300 meters below...
