Since the Palestinians cannot – read that ‘will not’ – work out a sensible peace accord with Israel, they had to come up with something else.

That something is to go to their bosom buddies at the UN with a try at an end run to have the West Bank and Gaza declared a recognized state.

Before I get to far into the weeds, I guess I should acknowledge that in 1947 it was the UN that voted for Israel to become a state. Every Arab nation, of course, voted against the move, but other nations passed vote. Britain and others ‘abstained.’

Now the Palestinians are headed...

It’s a simple little town about five miles south of Jerusalem. Not much in the way of any desirable attributes. But there is one thing that keeps Bethlehem in our hearts and minds – the birthplace of Jesus Christ, Israel’s Messiah and the Saviour of all who place their faith in Him.

In the towns of Nazareth and Bethlehem the Christmas decorations are aglow. This is for two reasons… the Christians and the tourists.

Forgetting politics for a moment, we just want to wish you and yours the most blessed Christmas ever.

Our lives, like yours, if probably...

A friend suggest we might enjoy the video here. We think you will as well.

Never heard of this lady before but she definitely has her numbers organized.

We have a couple of items from that will probably interest you in the wake of the recent Cuban warm-up with the US.

They will also probably stir up some folks in Israel:

Read these, then we will add out two cents at the end:

The Syrian rebel militia Al Yarmouk Shuhada Brigades, backed and trained for two years by US officers, mostly CIA experts, in Jordan, and supported by the Israeli army, has abruptly dumped these sponsors and joined up with the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria, DEBKAfile’s exclusive military and counter-terrorism sources reveal.

The sudden...

In a recent conversation with our dear friend Dr. Mike Creed, we discussed the important work he is doing in addition to his task of pastoring a church in the shadow of Washington DC.

He is one of the two men leading Awake America. And he is making headway toward influencing the United States Capitol toward a more godly stance in preserving Constitutional conservatism and assisting elected officials to understanding what Godly values are all about.

If you have not yet visited their website,,...

(Photo of Livni and Peres in his office)

I recently read a piece written by Jan Willem van de Hoeven, and was granted permission to reprint it on these pages.

I have known Jan Willem for a number of years. He is a stalwart in defense of Israel, and of course I respect and appreciate that.

He lives in Beit El with his lovely wife, where he continues to stand for Israel.

When Shimon Peres lost to Benjamin Netanyahu with a very slight margin in the 1996 election for Prime Minister, he, Shimon Peres, was interviewed...

With all the news in Israel focusing now on the dead Palestinian minister and Israel’s March national elections, little note was taken when Palestinian President for life Mahmoud Abbas said that the Palestinians had no partner for peace negotiations.

That means that there is one single item in which Israel’s Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon and he agree.

“Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas is not a partner for a genuine peace deal, Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon said Saturday in an interview in which he poured ice-cold...

This headline actually grants Palestinian President-for-Life Mahmoud Abbas the ability to do magic. How does one call of peace negotiations which do not exist?

Barring Sec of State John Kerry’s pressure on Israel, ignoring Prime Minister’s comments about not having a partner for the old, dead peace talks, and knowing that without Justice Minister Tzipi Livni in the Netanyahu coalition any longer, Abbas is not really doing anything substantive.

JCPA sent out a piece on this earlier last week, and it is worth reading (below),...

This photo courtesy of the IDF, shows Hebollah men taking a break while lugging what looks like a generator, near the Israel-Lebanon border.

Some people have said that politics is like sausage making; it’s best if one does not watch it too closely.

Nowhere is that more evident than in Israel.

For Americans the parliamentarian system of government is rarely observed, except for England when shouting matches occur. Well, that is also true of Israel.

Now there is a call for “new elections” by Prime Minister Netanyahu after he fired Tzipi Livni and Yair Lapid. They of course took their party’s members with them.

You can listen to our radio broadcast this week on the subject.
