I forget. Which lie is this Obama and Kerry are floating this week?

In light of “If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor,”

“Benghazi was the result of a video,”

And so many more lies out of the administration, you’ll forgive me if I know that the Obama administration will lie to just about everyone to get their way. After all the ends justify the means.

For Israel the situation is a bit different. If it turns out that Obama lied, Americans and even Europeans...

If you think things are really confusing in the Middle East, you are a master of understatement. The photo here shows the titular head of Hamas, the former King of Saudi Arabia and the President of the Palestinian Authority. (No new photos of the new king with them)

As you already know, Iran has kicked over the bucket of traditional alliances with the Obama nuke agreement. But more on that a bit later.

What’s with...

I was raised in a small southern Illinois town that was all white. I never knew a black man until I entered the Army. My assistant-gunner in Viet Nam the first year was a black man. I invited a black man and his wife to live in our apartment after we got back from Viet Nam until they got a place of their own.

Later, I hired black men and women in businesses I managed. My credentials are solid in this area of race relations....

Israel announced that it is equipping Israeli civilian jets that fly into and out of Eilat with missile defense pods. (see photo)

These will sound an early warning to the pilots as well as fire off chaff and flares to distract any missiles or rockets aimed at the aircraft.

For ages military airplanes have been equipped with these devices, though the civilian ones are somewhat different, and not in pods.

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif (C) laughs at the start of a meeting on Iran’s nuclear program with US Secretary of State John Kerry in Vienna, Austria, on June 30, 2015.

Why is he guffawing? Because he knows that he has just pulled off a grand coup against the world thanks to John Kerry and Barack Obama.

You have probably heard the arguments from the left on what a stellar job Kerry and the Europeans...

Located across the street from the Mamilla Hotel and behind the Mamilla shopping mall is a place called Kfar David, or David’s Village.

It is one of the most expensive residential locations in Jerusalem, in a city that has lots of lofty locations.

Sitting at the top of the Valley of Hinoam, David Village is beautiful, and full of pricey apartments, most of which are owned by wealthy people who live in Europe, or in one case we know of outside of Washington, DC.

For months we walked past the little crowd gathered outside the entrance to the Prime Minister’s compound on Azza and Balfour Streets. They had signs and even a small canopy to protect from the elements.

They wanted IDF soldier Gilad Shalit freed from Hamas in Gaza, and were there letting everyone in Jerusalem who traveled the very busy Azza Street to know it.

Of course eventually a deal was made, a...

“MK Sharon Gal (Yisrael Beytenu) to enforce the death penalty for terrorists has gained momentum, with some ministers saying they’ll vote in favor and a social media campaign growing in popularity. Gal posted a photo of himself on Facebook on Wednesday, in which he is holding a sign that says: “I, too, support the death penalty for terrorists.” He called on his supporters to upload similar pictures. “We must change the reality...

What with the run of nuttiness that has been happening in the United States lately, this is the latest…

“House Speaker John A. Boehner (R-Ohio) called Thursday for an informal bipartisan group to review matters related to Confederate memorabilia in the U.S. Capitol, cutting off an unexpected, racially tinged debate over the “Stars and Bars” that had consumed the House floor.

“Boehner sidelined legislation that would...

If you have been studying Middle Eastern politics as long as I have, then you are likely to realize it is a maze that few Westerners will ever grasp.

For one thing, there is face – the retention of supposed self esteem and respect.

Recently it came to light that Saudi Arabia, a Sunni nation, provided financial support to a charity foundation that has been linked to Iran’s proxy Hezbollah, a Shia terrorist group based...
