Perhaps no one in the Obama government more readily lends himself to mockery more than John Kerry. He is the great self-deceiver, the man who speaks the mundane and outright lies with nary a smile. But we mentioned the botox because that would certainly make a poker face easier.

In Riyadh, secretary of state says US still concerned about some Iranian activities in other countries, specifically Lebanon and Syria with Hezbollah.

President for Life, Mahmoud Abbas held a press conference with Israeli reporters in Ramallah last week. He was more prepared than usual for reporter’s questions, but much of what he said was mush.

We thought an analysis of both the report and Abbas’ comments were in order:

All the president’s arguments

On Thursday afternoon, immediately after Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas had met with a group of us Israeli journalists at his Ramallah headquarters,...

An Israeli Border Guard policeman stands near the body of a thirteen year old Arab girl who charged the security guard posted at an Israeli Samarian settlement. When the guard ordered her to stop and provide identification, she pulled a knife and charged him

The guard dodged the first attack and then shot the girl killing her.

Her father arrived at the town after the attack and told authorities that his daughter had...

This past week end the US and others ended the sanctions against Iran and one hundred fifty billion dollars were poured into Iranian coffers.

Experts on Iran state clearly that the first thing to happen is that large amount of dollars will go to the military and terrorist entities that Iran supports.

In fact, they offered to immediately put Hamas in Gaza back on the payroll, but SHOCK – Hamas said that they thought...

‘If the Palestinians were to be offered the opportunity to live in a single state with the Jews, 95 percent would say yes and sign on it.’

That quote is from a man who lives in Jenin. The name is probably not familiar to most people outside of Israel, but it was once the hotbed of militants, terrorists and Israel haters. Now it is relatively peaceful, and the residents seem to want to keep it that way.

Avi Issacharoff...

Turkey blinked. When President Erdogan threw a few fits at Israel, yanked his ambassador, and tried to cozy up to Iran, the world gasped, his own people wondered about NATO and how that was going to work out.

Israel responded by breaking relations, and tens of thousands of tourists who once traveled to Istanbul and other sites to vacation found new destinations to spend their shekels.

Now it seems that Turkey wants...

In a recent discussion on writing novels I mentioned that I use Scrivener software. One of the main features that I like is the left column that allows me to list my various characters, bios, etc. That is how the Syrian war (s) are becoming. One needs a play card to track who is doing what to whom, and which permission from whom.

INSS provided a recent briefing that I thought might help a bit. Here it is without our usual...

You get on a bus to go shopping and worry that the person standing by the stop where you get off may thrust a knife deep into your back.

You walk down the street and since Arabs and Jews mix freely inside West Jerusalem, are constantly worried that a man who meets you or just walked past you may pull a knife or even a screw driver and stab you or a family member.

You are sitting at an outdoor café and wonder if a...

Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corp Deputy Commander Hossein Salami said that the Sunni Arab nation of Saudi Arabia faces imminent collapse.

And, of course, everyone knows that we can believe anything that comes out of Iran.

What he really meant that since they have executed lots of Shi’ite troublemakers in the country that the other Shia will rise up and tear down Saudi Arabia.

Probably not. But here’s how this...

In a recent article Hawkins reported that “Gun crime convictions are down more than 33 percent compared to a decade ago, but the Obama administration’s gun control push has risen sharply.”

Now, logic would tell us that something is working. Or that gun owners who are going out in society armed could even be having an influence on crime. Or that the laws already on the books are enough.

But that would require logic...
