“Can’t anybody here play this game?” asked Casey Stengel in1962. One has to wonder what he would say about the Obama regime.

Who me? (Israel FM Avigdor Lieberman)

“Every so often, the sayings of Casey Stengel come to mind. The longtime manager of the New York Yankees, accustomed to a Prussian professionalism, moved over to the astonishingly hapless New York Mets in 1962 and, surveying his new team, uttered an exasperated question: "Can't anybody here play this game?" What applied to those Mets applies now to the Obama administration. In the Middle East, it's no hits and plenty of errors.” So...

We all get them. Emails that are good, bad and just plain ugly. There is one, though that should be repeated regularly. We humbly offer it here.

There are no doubt a couple of people you might think got the prize and didn’t deserve it.

Gaza is that narrow strip of land below Ashdod, Israel, that seems to have been the center of insanity for decades, if not centuries, or millennia.

Gaza to the West (Ernie Moore)

Gaza City in the background. Pay attention to it. Near the end of this piece it will be mentioned.

“I ask him if that means the human rights situation was better under Israeli occupation that it is today for residents of both the West Bank and Gaza. “Why do you think I ask you not use my name? Yes, 100 percent yes,” he said. “At least the occupation had a positive effect of drawing the Palestinian people...

He was raised in poverty, one of 12 children, and his tan is real, in spite of an almost racist slap at him by our half-white President.

Rep. John Boehner

I don’t know US House Member John Boehner, but we share a mutual friend in the DC area. There is little doubt that Boehner won’t be the next Sunday School teacher in a Baptist Church, he is still far ahead of the language we hear coming out of the White House.

The Telegraph of London did a recent article that I thought I would share in part with you. Look for my regular bracketed comments in the text.

Article begins now:

For the past decade we have been speaking out about how our elected officials have decided that once they are sworn in, the people who elected them suddenly are out of touch with reality.

clip_image002

You can talk about how to change this all you want. The only real repair to politics today is to sweep the current flock out of office, elect people who aren’t looking for a career, and get them to immediately guarantee that doesn’t change by passing term limits. Consider this:

Congressional Reform Act of 2010

1. Term Limits: 12 years MAX! Less for the House members.

NO DOUBT DAVID GREEN WOULD SEE THIS AS FREE SPEECH!

HERE IS THE PIECE:

On the anniversary of September 11, students at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign joined with Americans across the country in holding an observance of the tragedy that rocked our nation 9 years ago. It was at this event that some students crossed the line, according to a letter to the editor...

When former COS Giora Eiland and I were discussing the Middle East Peace prospects some time ago he said something that I’ve never forgotten – “It matters who the messenger is.”

Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon

By that he meant that there are times when we may draw lightening and another person might be better to make the statement. That is what is happening here.

Danny Ayalon isn’t on the bullet nose, Bibi Netanyahu is, as Prime Minister. Danny stands back a bit and is the right man at the right time to tell the media what most of us already...

While President Obama, Michelle, ma belle and others make much of his Kenyan roots, it looks to us like Forbes Magazine and Newt Gingrich may have fallen across a third rail at the White House for doing much the same.

The issue is about an article written by Indian-born Dinesh D’Souza, who once actually worked in the Reagan White House. This piece below is a summation regarding the blow-up but has links to lots of other stuff that you will find interesting if you click on them.

I personally think Gingrich is pretty much on target. I also think he...

We did our radio broadcast this week on this poll, but the time constraints just didn’t allow us to get all out that we wanted to say. So we add to our remarks in print.

PA & Bethlehem Political entities (Ernie Moore

Opinion polls are tricky items. For instance the way a question is phrased has a lot to do with the answer one receives. Consider this:

“Tell me Mr. Johnson, do you beat your wife as much this year as you did last year?” See what I mean? Mr. Johnson is not going to look good from any answer he provides.

Now consider the following...
