Glenn Beck is planning an August mass rally in Jerusalem. Beck no doubt loves Israel, has presented some great positive materials regarding Israel and the Jews. Originally he planned to locate the rally near the Temple Mount at the Southern Wall of the Old City. Maybe inside the Davidson Archeological Museum? Where ever it was planned, the Rabbis in charge of the Western Wall Plaza would have been unhappy.
Beck is working on moving it to a less controversial location. It was released recently that he would hold the rally on the Mt. of Olives. Oh?!
Someone should explain to Mr. Beck, whom we appreciate for his conservative views that he is jumping from the pot into the fire.

Mt. of Olives
The Mt. of Olives is in the heart of East Jerusalem. It is populated primarily by Palestinians who are not in love with pro-Israel radio personalities.
It is a fact that there are entire neighborhoods in this area that Jews are told by police to absolutely not enter. Holding a pro-Israel rally here is the worst possible idea.
We humbly offer this advice: Get it inside the Convention Center on the west side of the City.
Move it to Tel Aviv, or perhaps the area inside the walls of the Crusader Fort at Caesarea. Great video shots of the Med, good views of the archeological areas, a large area for the rally goers and security is great.
At any rate, no one has asked us. (grin) Stay tuned.
